There is something really magical about your own home and coming back to it when you’ve been gone for a while. By being really present with what you’re seeing and by appreciating all you have, you can understand why Dorothy in the “Wizard of Oz” felt…there’s no place like home. Let me give you an example, after going on vacation for a month to visit my family in New Hampshire and then Germany for my son’s wedding, it was the best feeling ever walking into my home. It was 2:00 in the morning and I felt like I was viewing my place for the first time, noticing the beauty of the colors and how everything seemed to fit together so perfectly. I felt a “completeness” being there…these were my things and they had sentimental value. The furniture even seemed to look brighter, more illuminated and it brought a profound sense of comfort and contentment to me. It was a moment I will never forget and the perfect ending to an unbelievable vacation.
Going to new places, meeting new people, and seeing family and friends is fun yet knowing you can always come home to your place, your stuff and your environment is an incredible feeling. I am so blessed to call my home “my castle” even though it is small and not what I’m used to. So for anyone divorcing, downsizing, or getting a new place the joy will come from making it your own and surrounding yourself with things that make you happy. In mine, I feel good and powerful and it brings out the best in me…there’s no place like home! If you don’t feel like that, think about what you can do to add or change something in yours.
My home is a very significant piece of the abundant life I’ve created around me, including my friends, my passion for work, my faith, and being able to do the things that are aligned with who I am…my authentic self. The key, I’ve found, is to find joy, confidence, and peace every single day and always keep learning and expanding. I am committed to continuing to help as many people as I can to have a life they love and never settle. By supporting you and providing the tools necessary I can help you to live your abundant life too…the time is now!
Let me know how I can support you.
With Love and Gratitude,
Caryn
